Lyle Phillips is the lead pastor of Legacy Church Nashville, which he planted in 2016 with his wife Alison.

Before pastoring, Lyle spent years battling addiction, homelessness, and near-death — before encountering God in a drug house at 21 years old.

Following his conversion, he moved to Mozambique and then India, where his nonprofit Mercy 29 rescued over 400 children from human trafficking.

Legacy Church now runs three Sunday morning services and a fourth location in Franklin, Tennessee. Lyle is a husband, father of four, and a preacher with a story that proves God wastes nothing.
